Strawberry Creek is a lovely urban creek enjoyed by many in the community, which also means lots of trash tends to end up in and around it. Strawberry Creek Restoration Program (SCRP) interns led a volunteer work day on October 6th to try to pick up as much of this trash as possible. With volunteer help from UC Berkeley students, the day resulted in multiple wheelbarrows of trash being removed from the creek! There’s always more trash to pick up, and the SCRP team encourages everyone who enjoys Strawberry Creek to pick up their trash and others’ too as they see it!
