Strawberry Creek Watershed Storm Plan, History of the Upper Watershed Storm Drain System

Abstract:

The Watershed Storm Plan focuses on efforts campus operations staff should take prior to and during a predicted storm event in which peak runoff flow could overwhelm the Strawberry Canyon detention dam and/or Oxford Street culvert and cause flooding on the central campus or the City of Berkeley adjacent to the campus.

Attachment E, History of the Upper Watershed Storm Drain System, provides historical context of significant past storms.
